Final project board meeting and ISEMWO training, November 2018

On November 16, 2018, the Final project Board meeting took place in Bishkek. The main meeting task was summing-up of Project’s results. Mr. Arsen Ryspekov, National Project Coordinator, SAEPF’s deputy Director and co-chairperson, Mr. Anssi Karppinen, Project manager from the side of the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE) as well other Project Board members participated at the meeting.

Ms. Anna-Stiina Heiskanen, Fresh Water Center Director SYKE and co-chairperson of Project board meeting took part at the meeting via LYNC.

In the course of discussions, project board members have mention good results achieved by the end of Project. Additionally, Project manager has officially transferred sampler and echo-sounder to the Director of the State Nature Reserve “Karatal-Djaparyk”.  Handed over equipment will be used for Son-Kul lake deepen studies. The Minutes of Project Board’s meeting has been prepared based on meeting results. Minutes includes main decisions taken during the meeting.

In the same day, ISEMWO training has been organized for SAEPF’s administration at the conference-hall. ISEMWO – Informational System of Environmental Monitoring of Water Objects has been developed for water quality lab data visualization that should assist SAEPF’s administration to estimate situation and to facilitate with environmentally justified decision-making.
